Dear Visitor, Thank you for taking the time to visit our villa on the web! Las Tortugas is a very special home to us, since our entire family contributed to its design, construction and décor. Carriacou is a very beautiful island in itself, as it offers us picturesque views of rolling hills, warm blue waters and white sandy beaches. Individually, Las Tortugas and Carriacou are true gems of the Caribbean, but together they sparkle and become a true TREASURE! For us, a vacation at Las Tortugas is indeed like opening up a treasure chest where the jewels are made up of nostalgia and forever memories. Like many of you, long working hours and short family time are an all too familiar routine to the Hatch family. Holidays are precious, and need to be full of experiences that are exciting and unique. Our villa gives us the time and space to create perfect moments that help us to rediscover our relationships with our partners, our children and ourselves. Las Tortugas is a place for living and loving in peace and relaxation. Here we find time to build sandcastles with our two boys, Brendan, 6, and Kevin, 5, or bury them in the warm soft sands. We go snorkeling as a family and discover a world of magical fishes, corals and sea fans. Brendan's favourite adventure is to find soldier (hermit) crabs, name them and keep them as pets, letting them go when we leave. Kevin's proudest memory is of diving down 10 feet in the clear blue sea, by himself, to pick up one of the many Crown of Thorns starfish in the bay. As parents, we know that building a treasure trove of happy childhood memories is one of the greatest legacies you can pass onto your children. Las Tortugas and Carriacou offer us the chance to invent unforgettable memories that keep us healthy and happy until our next visit.
